Boing
A
delightful animated effort from Kansas Citian Jeff Daly.
A little boy
dreams that the creatures inhabiting his crayon drawings come to life,
taking him on a wild ride through dreamland. A really satisfying
tribute to the power of a child’s imagination. reports Robert W. Butler, Author: Walt Disney’s Missouri.
This
review was received by animator Jeff Dalt in the Kansas City Star when
he won first place in animation at the KC Filmmakers Jubilee. He went
on to having his short exhibited at Paramount Studios during the 2nd annual Hollywood Film Festival and at the Directors Guild of America Theatre in Los Angeles at the 15th
World Animation Festival. Jeff was also was awarded a Certificate of
Excellence from the US Intl Film Festival, Chicago and had his film
purchased by the Swedish Television Network (STV) for international
viewing.
Jeff
continues to give creative talks at the Kaleidoscope exhibit at
Hallmark Cards and show kids how to make flipbooks at local schools. He
uses "Boing" to show them that there is no “right” way to draw.
Anything is possible when you use your imagination.
