Directors Bio:
Lance R. Lucero was born in Denver, Colorado in May of 1971. At a very young age, he became interested in filmmaking. He studied the craft vigorously until he was able to practice his own techniques when he received a video camera as a high school graduation gift. Since then, he has been actively involved with all aspects of production. He has written produced, directed and edited a vast amount of his own video projects and has been hired to work on many others. Many of the video productions have aired on local television stations and college inter-cable networks.
In 1996 Lance completed his first film, a short called FANTASYLAND (licensed to Omni Distribution 2005). The short was an elaborate period piece about two Knights battling over a beautiful Maiden. Lance took a fanatical approach to the short, overseeing every detail of the project in order to maintain a vast amount of entertaining production value at a minimal cost. FANTASYLAND was a success at the 1996 Denver International Fall Film Festival, 2004 Denver Dark Arts Film Festival, and the December 2008 Denver Downtowner Film Festival.
After the completion of the short film, Lance immediately began work on HUNTING FOR FISH, his feature film debut, which is now complete and ready for distribution. Currently, Lance has been involved in screenplay writing and graphics design.
